COPENHAGEN, Denmark–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#UniteCopenhagen–Rogue Racers, a mobile game in development by iLLOGIKA, is one of the products being used by Unity Technologies, creator of the world’s leading real-time 3D development platform, to demonstrate Unity Simulation, a brand new cloud-based simulation product. Using the non-player character artificial intelligence (AI) developed for the game, iLLOGIKA provided feedback and insight to test the service. Unity Simulation is currently in beta, to get started please go here.
“By using Unity Simulation, our team was able to run different combinations of in-game scenarios to find imbalances early in the development process. We believe these tools are going to be a big part of improving player experience in the future as well as help reduce the time required to launch new titles successfully,” said Régis Geoffrion, iLLOGIKA’s Studio Director. “For example, in order to fine-tune race-related values in the game, we were able to run 22,500 simulations (the equivalent of 46 days of realtime play). This allowed the design team to obtain the desired result much faster and much more precisely.”
“iLLOGIKA is proud to work with Unity”, says CEO David-Fugère-Lamarre. “This collaboration will allow us to bring Rogue Racers faster to the market with a finely tuned player progression..”
